Grace Kids
Growing in Faith
At Grace Presbyterian Church, we believe children learn about God through connection, creativity, and play. For generations, families have grown in faith within these walls — and today, that tradition continues through programs designed to help our youngest members discover God’s love in joyful and meaningful ways.
Family Worship
Worship: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. | Church School (September–June)
At Grace, children and youth stay with their families during morning worship until the minister invites them to the Conversation with Young Christians.
At that time — and if they’re comfortable — children are welcome to move to the front of the Sanctuary and sit on a mat. Parents may join them if they wish. After the conversation, children head downstairs for age-specific programming, and parents are always welcome to accompany their children and grow in faith together.
Following the service, please come downstairs to pick up your child and greet our teachers and volunteers. If you have any questions about children’s programming, feel free to ask an usher or minister on Sunday, or contact the church office during the week.
Grace Kids (Ages 4–12)
Grace Kids gather each Sunday following the Conversation with Young Christians for creative lessons that bring Bible stories to life through art, games, and storytelling.
Nursery Care (18 mos–3 yrs)
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers may drop off toddlers before worship (as early as 10:20 a.m.) and pick them up after the service (by 11:50 a.m.).
Our safe, welcoming nursery includes toys, a crib, and a changing table, staffed by caring volunteers who love children.
To ensure safety, access to the nursery is limited to:
Registered toddlers (18 months–3 years)
Parents, grandparents, or caregivers
Nursery Supervisor and volunteers
Keeping Children Safe
Grace follows Leading with Care, The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s policy ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for children, youth, and vulnerable adults. All volunteers and leaders are trained in this policy.
