Grace Quilters

Grace Quilters

Fourth Saturday of each month | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

September–June | Grace’s Board Room

The Grace Quilters are a compassionate, multigenerational ministry dedicated to stitching comfort, care, and hope into the lives of others.

Since 2005, this dedicated group has prayerfully created and shared hundreds of handmade quilts to mark baptisms, offer comfort during illness or grief, and support individuals in times of transition. Each quilt is thoughtfully crafted and given as a tangible reminder of God’s love and the ongoing care of the Grace community.

Their ministry extends both locally and globally. Quilts have been presented to RESET Calgary graduates as they begin new chapters, shared with refugees and Indigenous Elders, and delivered to families in Malawi and Mexico through mission partnerships. Whether given nearby or far from Calgary, every quilt carries a simple but powerful message: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Using generously donated fabric and supported by pastoral care funds, the Grace Quilters serve as a mission arm of the church, quietly responding to real needs with practical compassion.

Whether you are an experienced quilter or simply enjoy sewing, creativity, and fellowship, there is a place for you at the table. Join us as we continue to serve — one stitch at a time.
