Orange Shirt Sunday at Grace
Sunday, September 27, 2026
On Sunday, September 27, everyone is invited to wear orange to worship as Grace marks Orange Shirt Sunday, ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.
Orange Shirt Sunday is a time to remember the Indigenous children who were taken from their families and communities and sent to residential schools, to honour Survivors and their families, and to remember the children who never returned home. The orange shirt has become a powerful symbol of remembrance and the conviction that Every Child Matters.
As we gather in worship, we will reflect on the painful legacy and ongoing impacts of the residential school system and renew our commitment to listening, learning, truth, healing, and reconciliation.
Wear orange and join us for worship as we remember, reflect, and continue the journey toward reconciliation together.
