Renovation and Modernization of Grace August 16

Shrubs and roots on the East and North sides of Grace church property have been removed in response to Calgary Police Service’s Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design report that Grace commissioned in 2025.

Grace’s Land and Facilities Committee is working on a plan for modern landscaping to enhance Grace as a warm, loving, safe and welcoming space, with this work happening in 2027.

Interior renovations at Grace have progressed in the following areas: installation of core utilities (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) and sound masking systems within open walls/ceilings/floors, as well as framing the second-floor washrooms. Drywall application and taping on all three floors will be underway the week of August 10.

It is anticipated that construction will be completed by mid-September.
