Session Highlights

At its regular meeting on April 13, 2026, the Session:

• opened with worship, reflected on Luke 24:28-35, and gave thanks for encouraging signs of spiritual growth, with new members, youth, and the joy of the good news of Easter

• prayed that the Spirit will guide Grace as it seeks to grow in its various ministries

• received a presentation from Richard Wilson and Robin Telfer of the Land and Facilities Committee, and decided to call an emergent meeting of thecongregation on April 26 to consider the updated estimates for the cost of the washroom project

• approved a new Donations Policy which provides information on how Grace accepts, manages, and applies donations to support our ministries, staff, facilities, community outreach programs, and long-term sustainability

• agreed upon a process by which individuals might donate to Grace's Mission Fund, as the Session considers additional support to the Gambella Synod

• approved the list of names of nominees for eldership. Individual nominees will be invited to enter into a time of discernment about their sense of call. Willing nominees will let their names stand for election by members at the May 31 congregational meeting

• gave thanks for the volunteers who have been maintaining the Dr. Ruby Walker Library and asked the Spiritual Growth Committee to explore ways to support them in this ministry

• closed with a benediction.
