Help make Grace Cake Bake 2026 happen!
Volunteers are needed throughout Cake Bake week, with opportunities for a wide range of schedules and abilities. No baking experience is required, and you can help for one shift, a few hours, or several days.
Volunteer Opportunities
Preparation Day — Saturday, October 24
Help prepare ingredients, equipment, pans, and work areas for the week ahead.
Cake Production — Monday, October 26 & Tuesday, October 27
Assist with filling pans, weighing cakes, levelling ingredients, and getting cakes ready for baking.
Baking — Monday, October 26 to Wednesday, October 28
Help with baking, cooling, and preparing finished cakes for wrapping.
Cake Wrapping — Tuesday, October 27 to Thursday, October 29
Wrap, package, and store cakes once they are ready.
Evening Wrapping — Wednesday, October 28
Can’t volunteer during the day? Join us from 6:00–8:00 PM for pizza followed by an evening of cake wrapping and packaging.
Prepare Orders — Friday, October 30
Help assemble and organize customer orders for the first pick-up day.
Cake Pick-Up — Saturday, October 31 & Sunday, November 8
Welcome customers, locate their orders, and help distribute cakes.
Friends, family members, newcomers, and longtime Grace members are all welcome. Come for the shift that works for you and be part of a Grace tradition that has brought people together for 64 years.
