Last year, over 1,000 children attended Grace’s Trunk N Treat! This year, we’re looking for 48+ volunteers to welcome families for Trunk N Treat and Fall Fest fun—including games, crafts, cider, and a photo booth.
Decorate a trunk, lead an activity, or help behind the scenes. Whatever your role, you’ll help our neighbours experience the warmth and welcome of Grace.

Where can you help?
Trunk N Treat Car Hosts | 15 volunteers
Decorate your vehicle’s trunk, greet children, and hand out treats. Decorations can be provided if needed!Grace Information Tent | 3 volunteers
Welcome guests, offer directions, and share information about Grace.Fall Games | 8 volunteers
Lead games, encourage participation, and help keep activities safe and inclusive. Games are provided.Cider & Hospitality | 4 volunteers
Serve cider, greet visitors, and keep the hospitality area welcoming and tidy.Set-Up Team | 6 volunteers
Prepare tables, tents, signage, decorations, and activity areas before guests arrive.Teardown Team | 6 volunteers
Pack supplies, take down equipment, and help tidy up after the event.Fall Crafts | 4 volunteers
Help children and families enjoy seasonal crafts. Activities and materials are provided.Photo Booth | 2 volunteers
Welcome families and help them capture a fun memory. The booth will be set up in advance.
We’ll help you feel ready
You’ll be supported by Kat Newport, Grace’s Coordinator of Volunteers. Join our volunteer training on Sunday, September 27 for an introduction to the event, practical instructions, and guidance on welcoming and assisting guests. Further details will follow in October.
The event will run for approximately two hours. Your time commitment depends on your role; most volunteers arrive at least 30 minutes before the event begins. Set-up and teardown volunteers will serve before or after the event.
