Construction Progress

Grace Presbyterian Church continues to move forward in the renovation and transformation of our space.

Tenders for the construction of the new washrooms closed on April 2. The architect, along with Richard Wilson, will now review submissions, follow up with bidders as needed, and bring a recommendation to Session. A congregational meeting will be scheduled—with appropriate notice—to approve the selected contractor.

Pre-construction work is already underway. A new entrance to the family room has been completed, along with new storage closets for tables and chairs. The cabinet maker’s display case has also been carefully removed and placed in storage. In the coming days, the library collection will be packed and safely stored as we await direction from the library committee.

During construction, the hallway outside the nursery will be closed. Access will be rerouted through the new family room entrance. Further updates, including construction start dates and progress, will be shared as they become available.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and continued support during this important season of renewal at Grace.
