Will You Be Ready? Planning with Purpose for End of Life
The conversations our loved ones need us to have
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Grace Family Room
Includes: Lunch
Join us for a Learn & Lunch conversation on one of life's most important — and often avoided — topics. Over a shared morning together, we'll explore three areas that every person and family benefits from understanding:
Funeral Planning — practical steps you can take now to prepare, so your family doesn't have to make difficult decisions in their hardest moments
Legal Essentials — a brief overview of the differences between an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA), Power of Attorney (POA), and Goals of Care
Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) — what it is, how it works, and the questions it raises
We'll close the morning with lunch — a chance to continue the conversation, ask questions, and connect with others in our community.
This is a space for honest, compassionate conversation — no expertise required. Whether you're planning ahead for yourself or supporting someone you love, this workshop will leave you feeling more informed, more prepared, and less alone in the process.
Your Facilitators: Cassandra Coster, End of Life Doula | Robin Tomlinson, RN | Kerri Kroeker, Leadership & Life Coach and former Hospital Chaplain
