At its September 14 meeting, Session considered updates to Grace’s rental policy, supported staff role reviews, and approved revised pastoral care district lists. Members also approved a baptism and membership transfers, and gave thanks for Bob Ermter’s more than 51 years of faithful service as he steps away from active service as an Elder.

Highlights from Grace Presbyterian Church’s August 10, 2026 Session meeting, including updates on leadership, finances, spiritual growth initiatives, committee appointments, communion practices, and other matters shaping the life and ministry of Grace.

At its regular meeting on May 11, the Session opened with worship and reflection before receiving financial updates, approving revised Finance Committee Terms of Reference, and reviewing several areas of congregational life and care. Session also gave thanks for Bob Ermter’s service on the Finance Committee, discussed the ongoing work of Pastoral Care & Connection, approved updates to the list of Adherents, approved two baptisms, and closed with reflection and a benediction.

At its April 13 meeting, Session gathered in worship and gave thanks for signs of spiritual growth at Grace, particularly among new members and youth. Plans are moving forward for an emergent congregational meeting on April 26 to review updated washroom project costs. Session also approved a new Donations Policy, affirmed steps to support the Mission Fund, and began the discernment process for new elders ahead of the May 31 congregational meeting. Appreciation was expressed for library volunteers, with further support being explored.
